Each city leaderboard pulls the top bars from Google Places using a "top bars in {city}" text search biased to the city centroid, keeps the top 10 results, then sorts by Google star rating (descending) with total review count as the tie-break. This hub aggregates the 50 boards we track for bars. The full dataset is published as open data (CC-BY-4.0) at biglove.to/hyperlocal-summary.json.
